Whole wheat Fusilli with walnuts Ingredients for 4 Servings Cooking and Preparation Time 30 Minutes 320 g De Cecco Whole wheat Fusilli 100 g walnut kernels 100 ml cream 1 spoonful De Cecco Extra Virgin Olive Oil "Il Classico" 30 g butter 1/2 onion 1 clove of garlic 3 spoonfuls grated grana cheese Parsley Salt and pepper Bring a pan with plenty of salted water to the boil. In the meantime, chop the walnut kernels finely, keeping a spoonful of whole kernels aside. Peel and chop the onion; peel and crush the garlic. In a pan with a spoonful of oil and the butter, sauté the onion and garlic; add in the chopped walnut kernels and brown them; add salt and pepper. Mix in the cream. Cook the pasta in boiling water, drain it "al dente" and serve with the walnut sauce, grated grana cheese and chopped parsley. Decorate the dish with the whole walnut kernels.
